LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two women are accused into breaking into numerous homes near E. P. "Tom" Sawyer Park, in the Moorland and Keeneland neighborhoods, taking a total of more than $12,000 in property.

That's according to arrest reports filed Tuesday by Louisville Metro Police.

Emily Vadnais, 26, of Louisville is accused of driving Kristen Broyles, 30, to houses when Broyles would then enter and take belongings. The property was located in a search after the suspects gave consent, police said.

The houses were located on Cimmaron Trail, Fountain Avenue, Hounz Lane, Military Avenue, Westmoorland Way and Whipps Mill Road. The women live in the Meadowbrook Farm neighborhood on Farnham Drive in a home near the burglarized homes.

Vadnais faces eight counts of burglary and a charge of receiving stolen property under $10,000. Broyles faces nine counts of burglary, along with receiving stolen property under $10,000.
