Southbound lanes of Loop 101 have reopened at Chandler Boulevard after a concrete truck rolled over and caught fire.

The southbound HOV lane remains closed while an Arizona Department of Transportation crew replaces a light pole damaged in the rollover.

The crash caused traffic delays for morning commuters in the southeast Valley.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Raul Garcia said a concrete truck rolled and started a fire on the southbound Loop 101 at Chandler Boulevard just before 7:45 a.m. Thursday.

Garcia said the truck's front left tire blew out right before it crashed and caused a diesel spill in the area, north of the San Tan 202.

The driver was taken to Chandler Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Northbound Loop 101 remained open.
