SHELBYVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A local animal shelter volunteer is going the extra mile to
help a special guy get his forever home.
Boss Man is a pit/bulldog mix who’s
lived at Tyson’s Chance, a rescue shelter for dogs in Shelbyville, for over a
year. Paula Sparrow will be moving into his kennel Friday at 5:00 p.m. and she is
planning on staying with him for 48 hours.
"Boss Man has been a shelter dog for one and a half
years," said Sparrow. "He's a wonderful dog who's been overlooked
just because he's a pit mix. Boss is sweet, loves people, plays with dogs his
own size, is obedience trained-it's time somebody stepped up for this dog and
took him home. I've known him his whole shelter life, and I couldn't love him
