6 hurt in collision in Peoria intersection

PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Six people were taken to hospitals, two with serious injuries, after a two-car crash at a Peoria intersection just before the lunch hour Friday.

A 27-year-old woman and her 1-year-old daughter in one car were in serious condition, said Amanda Jacinto of the Peoria Police Department.

A 30-year-old woman, her two daughters, ages 8 and 4 years, and her 1-year-old son were in the other car and suffered minor injuries, Jacinto said.

The collision happened at 79th and Peoria avenues about 11 a.m.
