LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two people are arrested after a victim reported four people took her to an alley, beat her and stole her belongings, according to police.

John Johnson, 22, and Alexandra Ngo, 24, both of Louisville, were arrested Friday, October 18 and charged with first degree robbery. Johnson faces an additional charge of receiving stolen property. Police apprehended them separately but suspect they are both involved in the same crime.

A victim told police she was picked up on Taylor Boulevard in Louisville and driven to an alley where she says four people dragged her out of a car. According to a police report, she said they punched and kicked her before taking her money and cell phone and fleeing the scene.

Police said there were witnesses to the assault who recall one or more of the suspects slamming the victim's head on the cement ground, as well.

Both Johnson and Ngo gave taped statements to police admitting their involvement. Johnson said he picked the victim up, drove to the alley and fled with the other suspects in his car, according to his arrest report. Police did not detail Ngo's statement.

Two other suspects are identified as Jacob Gallagher and Christian Shackelford. Neither of them are in police custody.
