SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A bomb threat caused the evacuation of two courthouses in Shepherdsville on Monday, according to the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office, which answered the threatening call.

According to Lt. Mike Murdoch, the caller did not specify a courthouse in the threat, so both the Bullitt County Courthouse and the adjacent Bullitt County Judicial Center were evacuated as a precaution. Two K9s were searching the buildings to ensure their safety.

Murdoch said the sheriff's office has video from the location where the threatening call originated in the Shepherdsville area. Law enforcement officials were reviewing it to determine whether criminal charges were warranted.

The all clear was given around 2 p.m.

A bomb threat on September 23, forced the evacuation of the several buildings in Shepherdsville, including the courthouse, judicial center, a library and a church. That threat was determined to be a hoax.
