Man accused of stealing a young boy's moped

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Fairdale man is accused of helping someone steal a moped from a juvenile on Tuesday.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Mark Taylor Mills, 29 and his friend, Patrick Hardin, approached the young victim while he was at a stop light. Mills was apparently driving the car and Hardin was his passenger.

Hardin then allegedly exited the car, approached the victim on the moped and pushed him to the ground. According to the report, Mills then got out of his vehicle, pulled the victim from the moped and Hardin rode off on the moped. Mills drove away in his car.

The victim was able to get the license plate number of the vehicle which was registered to Mills.

Mills is being charged with 2nd degree robbery.
