VIDEO: Deputies looking for suspects that stole horns off train

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft that happened in the early morning hours of October 14. Evansville Western Railway reported the horns off of two of their locomotives while they were stationary in the 4200 block of Hogue Road. The horns have an approximate value of $750.

The theft was caught on video by surveillance cameras attached to the locomotives.

The video shows a a full-size Chevrolet pick-up truck pull down the lane adjacent to the railroad tracks. The suspects get out of the truck and climb on to the locomotive. A short time later they are seen climbing back down with the horns in hand.

Anyone that recognizes the suspects in the surveillance video or has information about the incident is asked to contact the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office at (812)421-6201.
