Man accused of selling $8,900 worth of stolen property

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man was arrested Thursday for a break-in that occurred in August.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Ruben Ousley, 38, broke into the Tommy Bramer and Son Company on Campground Road on August 29.

The arrest report states the total of stolen property was $8,900. Detectives investigated the break in and determined that Ousley scrapped the stolen property at Grade A Allstate.

According to police, there are photos of the suspect being paid for the property. Ousley was taken in for an interview and admitted to stealing and selling the property.

Ousley is being charged with theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief.
