The Hamilton County OVI Task Force has announced
a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday night in Mt. Airy.
checkpoint will be held in the 5100 block of US-27 (Colerain Avenue) from 9:00
p.m. through 1:00 a.m.
The location was chosen through a site selection
process that focuses on the frequency and severity of the impaired driving
problem in the area.
October 1, 2012, 28 OVI-related crashes have been reported in the area of the
checkpoint, including one that resulted in two fatalities and three more
resulting in serious injuries. During the same time period the Cincinnati
