Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon, which officials say was caused by a deer crossing the road.
The accident was located off of Highway 110, just north of FM 346. This is just north of Whitehouse in Smith County.
Officials say two people were riding on a motorcycle when a deer rain into the road. The motorcycle then hit the deer, causing the motorcycle to fall to the ground. The driver of the motorcycle and a passenger were injured, but the severity of their injuries is not yet known.
Whitehouse Police and Whitehouse Fire crews responded to the scene.
