LMPD: Shoplifting suspect pulled knife on store employees

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The man wanted for pulling a knife on two Kroger employees during a May shoplifting incident has been arrested.

According to an arrest warrant, the shoplifting at the Kroger, 924 S. 2nd, on May 23. The warrant says Joseph L. Goff put the merchandise under his jacket and tried to leave the store. When he was approached by store personnel, Goff pulled a knife and waived it toward them.

Goff got away with the merchandise, valued at $30.29.

On October 25, Goff was arrested at the store. He was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on a charges of robbery.
