LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – With storms in the forecast for Halloween night, cities and towns across Kentuckiana are changing the day children can go trick-or-treating. Some communities have indoor trick-or-treat events planned, as well.
Note: These times are subject to change. Contact your local community officials for the most up-to-date information.

Wednesday, October 30:
Indiana
- Charlestown: 6 to 9 p.m.
- Clarksville: 6 to 9 p.m.
- Floyd County: 5 to 8:30 p.m. *NOTE: New Albany trick-or-treat will remain on Halloween night. In case of severe weather, the city announced the make-up date will be Friday evening from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

- The Bluegrass Center for Autism, 9810 Bluegrass Pkwy, is hosting a special trunk-or-treat event designed to accommodate children with autism. It's a free event from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Halloween Safety Tips:
- If you want to brave the weather, a poncho or umbrella will probably be in order. Check in with the WAVE 3 Storm Tracking Team for more information as the day draws near. Make sure you have flash lights and/or reflective gear to increase your visibility to cars in cloudy weather and darkness.
