Spirits aboard the LST? Find out Halloween night

Posted: Updated:

There will be a chance to connect with spirits living aboard the LST 325 on Thursday.

The ship has a rich history, and on Halloween night, rain or shine, anyone can go on board and see if paranormal investigators can detect spirits living on board.

"We've had three other groups come aboard ship and do the same things. There's been some interesting results," said John Engstrom, the operations manager for the LST.

Teams using thermal imaging devices, full spectrum cameras, and K-2 readers say they found evidence of the afterlife living on the ship.

Engstrom says this will be the first time the public can tag along.

"We just decided we've never done anything for Halloween before. Let's try this. We don't guarantee the public is going to see or hear anything, but we're hoping for good results," Engstrom said.

The search for paranormal activity is Thursday night from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. aboard the LST. You have to be 18 years or older to attend and the cost is $20 per person.

Organizers say it's a real way to put some spook into your Halloween.
