200 shoes stolen; supposed to go to needy children

BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Needy children won't be receiving 200 pairs of shoes after someone broke into the Nelson County storage unit holding them. The Bardstown Rotary Club had been collecting the shoes for orphans and needy children.

"We are not defeated and this is going to make our drive even stronger," said drive organizer Ashley Patterson.

The Nelson County Sheriff's Department said they have two adults and a juvenile as persons of interest in this case.
