SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Traffic in the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 is moving slowly due to a 6-car wreck.

According to the Scott City Police Department, the crash happened on northbound I-55 in front of the Pave Stone exit Thursday morning.

Crews are working to reopen the interstate.

Our crew on the scene says one lane of traffic is backed up in the northbound lane from mile marker 91.4 back to the Scott City exit.

One lane is now open, but traffic is moving slowly.

No serious injuries are being reported, but one person was reportedly taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
