LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - According to an arrest warrant, Timothy Greer, 25, was arrested Wednesday for attempted murder on December 3, 2012.
Court documents state that Greer and another person approached the victim armed with handguns. Greer and the other person were apparently wearing toboggans pulled down over their faces when Greer grabbed the victim, drug him to a dark area and put a gun to his head while demanding the victim's property.
Both Greer and the other person allegedly went through the victim's pockets, took $200 and a cell phone. The arrest warrant said that Greer asked the other person to kill the victim several times until the victim grabbed him and got away.
Four shots were apparently fired from the gun towards the victim. Both men got into a black Impala and fled the scene. LMPD was called and police said the victim identified the car and they pulled it over two blocks from the scene.
Both Greer and the other man jumped out of the car, according to police, but the female driver was arrested. Greer left his EBT card, ID card and social security card in the vehicle.
Greer is a convicted felon who is being charged with attempted murder, robbery, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and tampering with physical evidence.
