Victim of Clark Memorial Bridge crash identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The victim of a deadly crash Wednesday on the Clark Memorial Bridge has been identified. According to the coroner's office, Carolyn Strickler, 25, died from multiple injuries sustained during the accident.

Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said Strickler was driving south on Second Street in a gray BMW when the car drifted into the northbound lanes for undetermined reasons, then drifted back into the southbound lanes before losing control and hitting an iron bridge support.

Strickler was pronounced dead at the scene.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Pearson Funeral Home on Breckenridge Lane.
