BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Authorities have recovered dozens of shoes stolen from a Bardstown charity earlier this week.
Most, if not all, of the 200 pairs of shoes stolen from a Bardstown Rotary Club storage unit on Monday are accounted for, Nelson County Sheriff Stephen Campbell said.
A person connected with the case brought in many of the shoes to the sheriff's office Friday morning, Campbell said.
Thursday, deputies arrested Brandon Humphrey, 31, of Bardstown, on charges of receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a felon.
There may be more arrests because detectives believe three to five people are involved, Campbell said.

Ashley Patterson, the rotary club member who organized the shoe collection, said she was excited by the developments.
"I just pray that (those responsible) can grow from this experience -- good always wins," Patterson said. "The outpouring of support is so much bigger. It's actually the story here."
Patterson said she hoped to collect double or triple the original goal of 300 pairs, citing the extra attention because of the theft case.
The deadline to donate is November 14. The shoes will go toward needy children, including many in Nelson County.
