Tempe police say a 12-year-old Tempe girl not seen by her family since she left home Friday morning has been found safe.
Officers said Danee Brooks was located on a Metro Light Rail platform in Tempe Sunday afternoon. The girl has been reunited with her family.
Brooks left the family home near the 1200 block of east Apache Boulevard and may have stopped by a school dance Friday night, officers said.
