LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested for causing a disturbance at a bar early Sunday morning after his wife was placed under arrest, according to police.

Arrest reports state Rebecca Lynn Anderson, 29, and Sean Anthony Anderson, 30, were at BJ's Sports Pub on Dixie Highway when Rebecca got involved in an altercation with several other people in her group. She was asked to leave several times but refused, police said, so she was arrested.

Sean Anderson's arrest report says he grabbed a bouncer as his wife was being arrested and slammed his head into an outside wall. Police said the incident caused numerous people to start fighting in the parking lot just before 3:00 Sunday morning.

Sean Anderson is charged with 2nd degree disorderly conduct. Rebecca Anderson is charged with 3rd degree criminal trespassing.
