Threatening note found on Tempe school campus


A threatening note was found on the campus of Fees Middle School in Tempe Tuesday morning.

CBS 5 News has learned that it was a teacher who found an anonymous note which made threats of violence to the school and teachers. However, the specific contents of the note are not being made public while the police investigate. The Tempe Police Department sent officers to the school right away and determined there was no immediate threat. Detectives are still looking for the writer of the note. Classes are in session today as police officers monitor the campus and will stay visible throughout the day. The school district was notifying the parents directly about the incident.
