LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A security guard who works at a Shively gentlemen's club is facing charges after police say he fired more than a dozen shots at people at or near the club.

According to an arrest report, on September 15 Mark Sullivan allegedly fired at least 18 shots in the direction of bystanders during a fight between patrons at the Dollhouse Gentlemen's Club, located on 7th Street Road.

Police said Sullivan told them he fired the first shot to disperse the crowd.

A short time later the fight moved to the other side of the building where one of the participants in the fight got into a vehicle and began driving into other vehicles.

Officers said that is when Sullivan fired the additional 17 shots.

The report states four of the bullets hit the vehicle driving into other cars.

Sullivan does have a concealed carry permit, but police said he does not have an armed security license.

Police said Sullivan told them he only fired two to four shots, but lab tests concluded 17 spent casings were fired from Sullivan's gun.

Shively police arrested Sullivan Monday night. He is charged with wanton endangerment.
