LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman came home Tuesday to see an unfamiliar car in her driveway and a stranger walking out of her house, according to a police report.

The victim told officers she confronted the man and he fled in his car. She called police and gave them a description of the vehicle, which they found less than a mile from her residence in the Buechel area of Louisville. Officers pulled him over at a Circle K on Bardstown Road near the Watterson Trail.

The woman was able to identify Mack Glover, 23, and his car.

According to an arrest report, several pieces of the victim's jewelry were found in Glover's car and a necklace was found in his pocket.

Police said the victim's television is still missing, along with other jewelry. According to the report, her total loss of property is $2,500.

After officers arrested Glover for burglary, they filed another charge accusing him of a separate crime.

On Monday, October 14, 2013, a witness called police from 4515 Beechbrook Road in Buechel to report a man throwing a handgun into an area where two children were playing.

Officers responding to the scene found a fully loaded 9 mm handgun.

After talking to other people in the area, the police discovered Glover went to the address on Beechbrook in retaliation for getting punched earlier in the day at a nearby liquor store.

Glover faces a first degree wanton endangerment charge for that incident.
