A man was arrested early Thursday morning after crashing into the side of a building and leaving the scene.
He apparently lost control, hit a parking meter, then a construction arrow sign and finally bounced into a building.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man was arrested after crashing into the side of a building and leaving the scene.
Around 11:15 p.m. November 6, Louisville Metro Police said Terry Lee Chambers, 23, of Louisville, lost control of his car at 3rd Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard in downtown Louisville. Chambers' car hit several parking meters, then a construction arrow sign belonging to MSD before finally striking a building.
Witnesses to the accident told police Chambers then got out of this car and began to run.
Chambers was arrested a short time later down the block from the accident scene. Police said Chambers had slurred speech, smelled of alcohol and admitted to officers that he had been drinking.
According to his arrest report, officers found a half pint of Hennessy inside the car and another half pint outside the vehicle.
Chambers is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and leaving the scene of a accident.
