LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested after allegedly threatening a minor in an attempt to force him to drive to Utah.
According to LMPD, Stephen Curtsinger, 26, was sitting in the victim's car, telling him about his life and how he wanted to return to Utah to see him family, when Curtsinger took the victim's cell phone and told him that wasn't going home that night.
The arrest warrant states that Curtsinger took out a knife and held it to the victim's knee. Curtsinger apparently said they would spend the night at a friend's house and then drive to Utah in the morning.
According to the victim, he began driving, following the directions Curtsinger was pointing out. They apparently had to stop for beer before arriving at Curtsinger's friend's house.
After approximately 15 minutes of being there, the victim said he told Curtsinger that he needed to get his backpack from the car. He then ran to the car, drove off and contacted police.
Curtsinger is being charged with unlawful imprisonment and menacing.
