LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory will hold its tenth annual live auction Saturday, November 9 featuring items from Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski.

This historic auction will offer pieces from Mazeroski's 1960 World Series Game 7 walk off home run including the actual jersey he wore during the game along with is bronzed bat and cleats.

Jeremy Kraft, director of consignments for Hunt Auctions, expects the winning jersey to go for as much as $500,000. But there will be plenty of other baseball memorabilia from Mazeroski and other icons of the sport going to auction for much less.

"We structure ourselves so that there's something for everybody. There's things that will bring a couple hundred dollars right up to things that will bring several hundred thousand."

On Friday, November 8, the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory will offer free admission until 4 p.m. for anyone who would like to come by and see the items up for auction and to also have their own baseball keepsakes appraised, free of charge.

The live auction will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and is free and open to the public with over 600 items to hit the auction block.
