Man unlocks, turns off alarm before robbing Subway

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A suspect robbed a sandwich shop by using a key to unlock the front door, according to Louisville Metro police.

Officers said on Sunday, November 3, a man went into the Subway located on Dixie Highway and Burnett Avenue by unlocking the front door, then proceeded to deactivate the stores alarm by typing in a code.

Officers said he proceeded to type in a code on the stores safe and removed cash before leaving the store and locking the door back behind him.

The suspect is described as being between 20 to 30 years old.
