LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) –
A Louisville group is stepping up to the plate to help typhoon victims in the
Typhoon Haiyan has claimed more than 1,700 lives
and that number is expected to climb.
On Saturday, November 16, volunteers will meet at the Kids Against
Hunger Packaging Center, located at 4209 Gardiner
View Avenue to package
The meals will contain specially formulated
high protein mixes of soy, rice, dried vegetables and 21 vitamins and minerals.
Kids Against Hunger is asking for additional volunteers
