Multiple people were arrested on Friday in connection to a major drug bust in Murfreesboro.
Fifteen of the 25 suspects are in jail facing charges. Police are still looking for 10 other people in connection to the drug ring.
This is a huge victory for citizens on University Street in Rutherford County who started calling police complaining about shootings and drugs in their neighborhood last year.
Police told The Murfreesboo Post that investigators confiscated an AR-15 from 32-year-old Marcus Nelson, who is a convicted felon.
Nelson is one of the 25 suspects and is accused of planning to sell 300 grams of cocaine and 70 pounds of marijuana.
Police also found $160,000 in drug money after executing search warrants at the suspects' homes.
The suspects range in age from 26 to 55 years old.
