LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A business jet registered to the U.S. government has made a safe landing a Louisville International Airport after declaring an emergency.
The pilot of the Cessna jet landed around 1:30 p.m. and was met by airport emergency crews after notifying the tower of problems with the brakes.
According to our Air 3 crew, the jet was bounded for Fort Knox. After the emergency was declared, the plane was diverted to Louisville International for landing because of the airport's longer runways.
There were no injuries among the six people onboard. The plane was towed from the runway to be inspected by mechanics.
