LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman faces a disorderly conduct charge after a
violent outburst in a neighborhood that included throwing chunks of
concrete at homes, according to Louisville Metro police.
Officers were dispatched to Greg Page Alley behind the 3700 block of
South 3rd Street Wednesday afternoon on a report of an irate woman
carrying an orange bucket and throwing rocks at houses. One neighbor told
police she believes the woman threw rocks at her dog.
According to an arrest report, one officer spotted Victoria P. Kannah,
39, in the alley with an orange bucket, screaming and yelling in a
different language. The officer said the bucket was filled with garbage bags,
chunks of concrete and rocks.
Police said Kannah told them the jail stole her money and that she had a
right to throw rocks at whatever and whomever she wanted because she
didn't have any food or money for a bus pass.
The report states Kannah is known to officers in the area for violent
outbursts and criminal actions toward property. Neighbors said they are
afraid of Kannah and try to stay inside their homes when they see her.
