The thing to do this Thanksgiving weekend in Cincy

It's Thanksgivukkah weekend: A rare holiday that won't happen again for more than 76,000 years.

It also includes the biggest bar night, Thanksgiving, the start of Hanukkah, Black Friday, the day after Black Friday and more.

Here's a breakdown of fun happening around town:

Wednesday

The Hudepohl Turkey Trot is on Thanksgiving Eve in Over-the-Rhine, which is basically a "pilgrimage" hopping to all the bars on Vine, Main and surrounding areas. There's even a looping bus! The fun starts at 8 p.m. at Arnold's Bar and Grill. Of course dozens of places around town have special Thanksgiving Eve plans, including Japp's, PLAY, Mt. Adams Pavilion and Mainstay Rock Bar.

Also, happy first day of Hanukkah!

Thursday

The 104th annual Thanksgiving Day Race begins at 9 a.m. at Paul Brown Stadium. The course is 6.2 miles through downtown Cincinnati, over the Taylor-Southgate Bridge to Newport, down 4th Street to Covington, and back over the Clade Wade Bailey Bridge to Ohio for the finish. You'll race alongside people dressed as Pilgrims, Native Americans and even turkeys. Get all your FAQs answered here - http://www.thanksgivingdayrace.com/FAQs.html

After the race you'll be feeling pretty good about yourself. Heck, you just ran 6.2 miles the morning after the biggest bar night of the year. Go you! Now it's time to carb-up.

But say the turkey implodes like it did on Christmas Vacation, there are actually plenty of restaurant options for carrying or dining out on Thanksgiving: Bob Evans, Boston Market, Buca di Beppo, Cracker Barrel, Denny's, Golden Corral, IHOP, Maggiano's, Max & Erma's, Mitchell's Fish Market, Waffle House.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Friday

You don't need me to tell you about shopping on Black Friday. If you plan to take part in the frenzy, I'm sure you'll Google a game plan.

However, if you still have family in town, take them down to Fountain Square!

The Cincideutsch Christkindlmarkt is 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. After opening weekend, it'll move to Findlay Market for the remainder of the holiday season.

We all know it's not the holidays until the tree is lit on Fountain Square. Macy's Light up the Square festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the official tree lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. There's also food, music, ice skating and Santa repels down the 525 Vine Building to the Macy's rooftop to kick off a fireworks show!

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The Musical is at the Aronoff through Sun, Dec. 1. Such a classic. "You're a mean one... Mr. Grinch..."

Saturday

Foxy Shazam is back home in Cincinnati to play at Bogart's. The show is at 7 p.m. You can also buy a ticket package to be part of the smaller Friday night performance at Mayday Northside!

Moeller faces Hilliard Davidson in the Division I semifinals at Welcome Stadium in Dayton. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Sunday

Congrats! It's officially Christmas everything from now until December 25.
