LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Credit cards stolen from a southern Indiana mall were recovered hours later outside a mall in Louisville, according to police.
An officer found James T. Daniel, 24, shooting heroin into his arm on the Jefferson Mall parking lot November 21, police said. Arrest reports state Daniel was in possession of five credit cards, a Texas drivers license and a UofL student ID stolen from Green Tree Mall and used in both Kentucky and Indiana earlier in the day.
Daniel's former sister-in-law Lorelei E. Daniel, 28, was with him. Police said she was in possession of heroin, syringes and a Prada purse valued at approximately $1,500. The purse had been stolen with the credit cards and IDs inside, according to Lorelei Daniel's arrest report.
She is charged with receiving stolen property. James Daniel is charged with receipt of stolen credit cards and theft.
