Registered sex offender shows up at school dressed as 'Ghostbusters' character

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man shows up at a school uninvited, dressed in costume and poses for pictures with students. Who you gonna call?  In this case, the police.

Bryan Patrick Scott, 40, is a convicted sex offender who has been on the sex offender registry for 20 years, according to police, and is not allowed on the grounds of any elementary, middle or high school without the advance written permission of the school principal or board. That didn't stop him from showing up at youth volleyball game at Beth Haven Christian School on October 14, his arrest report states.

Scott is accused of showing up at the school without an invitation or permission dressed as a character from the movie Ghostbusters and taking photos with children.

He is charged with failure to comply with sex offender registration, a felony.
