LAS VEGAS (RNN) - After being down 39-34 in the first half, Missouri rallied and dominated almost the entire second half, beating Northwestern 78-67 in the Las Vegas Invitational.

The Tigers (6-0) went back and forth with the Wildcats (4-3) for much of the first half. Northwestern would walk away with a 5-point lead at the half, but Mizzou came out of the gates hot after the break, scoring an unanswered 14 points in the first six minutes. The Tigers never relinquished their lead and dominated by as much as 15 points.

Jordan Clarkson led Mizzou with 21 points and one block. Jabari Brown scored 15 points and led with nine rebounds.

This was the first game of the season for Mizzou head coach Frank Haith, whom the NCAA suspended for five games for his role in a scandal when he was head coach at Miami.

Mizzou will play Nevada in their next game of the Las Vegas Invitational on Friday, Nov. 29.
