LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two men were arrested in connection to a string of robberies at fast food restaurants across the Louisville metro area.

Thomas "Eddie" Davidson, 45, and Kevin Boyd, 39, are charged with multiple counts of first degree robbery from incidents which occurred between October 23 and November 30, 2013, according to police.

Their arrest reports indicate they robbed fast food restaurants at locations from Clifton Heights in north east Louisville to Standiford, near the airport in south Louisville and many areas in between.

The Twig and Leaf in the Highlands was one target, as well as several chain restaurants including multiple Qdoba, Rally's, and Waffle House locations. Police said the crimes Davidson and Boyd are charged with took place in the afternoon and evening hours between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Each incident shares certain similarities with the others. Police said the men acted alone and either brandished a gun or threatened to use one as they demanded cash. Once they received it, they fled the scene.

The Louisville Metro Police Department is holding a press conference on this string of crime Wednesday morning. At this point, police have not released the amount of money taken from each restaurant during the robberies.
