Screening of new movie starring JLaw to benefit Louisville school

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A school for at risk children is set to benefit from a special screening of a new film starring Louisville's own Jennifer Lawrence.

The Jennifer Lawrence Foundation and the Community Foundation of Louisville will host a screening of "American Hustle" on Monday, December 16 at Baxter Avenue Filmworks.

Before the film attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception and silent auction beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the West End School, a private K-8 school for at risk boys.
