LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man who was banned from all Kroger stores for shoplifting 12 years ago was found inside a Louisville Kroger on Saturday, according to police, who said the man had been harassing women at several businesses.
Police said they received multiple calls from multiple businesses on Saturday about a man who was following women, trying to touch them and asking for money. Officers said they found the man, Kayvon Brown, 34, standing next to a woman he didn't know at the Kroger at 5244 Dixie Highway.
Management and security at the Kroger told police that Brown had been banned from all Kroger stores after he was caught shoplifting in 2000 and 2001.
Brown is charged with third-degree criminal trespassing.
