LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A fight in the slow lane of traffic led to a woman's arrest on Saturday, but police said the fight didn't happen inside a car. It happened on the ground on an interstate in Louisville.

According to an arrest report, Devada A. Kinley, 49, and another person were fighting on the ground in the slow lane of the Gene Snyder Freeway/Interstate 265 at Stone Street Road around 11:30 Saturday night, causing public alarm to passing drivers and putting themselves at risk of getting hit by a car.

Police said an officer approached the pair and instructed them to let go of each other. Kinley was on top of the other person at the time, the arrest report states, and wouldn't let go. The officer had to physically remove Kinley from the other person, police said.

Kinley is charged with disorderly conduct.
