LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two people are charged with several crimes after a string of hit-and-run crashes on Monday.
According to an arrest report, police found Melissa E. Slayton, 20, and Lance Root, 23, engaged in a sex act inside a silver Honda parked at 4300 Crittenden Drive around 5:30 Monday afternoon.
Police said Root's genitals were exposed and Slayton was smoking a salvia blunt.
Slayton told the officer she was the only person who had driven the Honda on Monday. The vehicle was wanted from an earlier hit-and-run. Root stated they had been involved in several hit-and-run wrecks.
Slayton and Root are charged with possession of Salvia and public intoxication. Slayton is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Root is faces an additional charge of public indecency.
