LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Here are 10 things Kentuckiana will be talking about today:

1. Coldest temperatures of the season today - Don't expect to see temperatures above the 20s today, though there will be plenty of sunshine. A bitter cold night is ahead of us so bundle up and prepare for lows of 18 degrees.

2. KFC Yum! Center – With big acts including tonight's performance by Beyonce, the KFC Yum! Center has seen its most profitable week yet.

3. Salvation Army Angel Tree – Today is your last chance to adopt angel and change a child's Christmas. Angels can be adopted at specific Walmart locations including Hurstbourne Lane, Westport Road, Middletown and Bashford Manor. Thanks to you, WAVE 3's Angel-a-Thon helped raise $98,000 for less-fortunate children across Kentuckiana.

4. Meet Frodo – WAVE 3 News brought you the story of a pit bill left for dead. Frodo was found chained to a fence with duct tape wrapped around his muzzle when he was rescued this summer. The Arrow Fund took over and has helped Frodo fully recover! You can meet Frodo tonight at the Leslie H. Spetz Custom Framing and Gallery on Lime Kiln Lane when artist Connie Sandusky will be debuting works inspired by Frodo.

5. Jennifer Lawrence Awards – Louisville's golden girl is being nominated again! As awards season is upon us, Lawrence has already been given the nomination for a SAG award for her supporting role in ‘American Hustler.'

6. What's next for Louisville landmark? – When Lynn's Paradise Café suddenly closed its doors last January, fans of the quirky joint were left out in the cold without their favorite dishes. With almost a year past, what's the plan for the restaurant?

7. Movin' on up – By now we know Kentucky is full of talent and several more residents are taking their turn at fame. Last night on ‘The Sing-off' the Acuostikats from UK strutted their stuff and narrowly escaped elimination. WAVE 3's Dawne Gee sat down with three Louisville sisters who are also chasing fame on ‘The Sing-off' as part of the group called Ten.

8. ‘America's Got Talent' auditions – Think you've got what it takes to be on the next season of ‘AGT'? You're chance may be closer than you think. Auditions will take place in Indianapolis in January.

9. Sam's employees getting a helping hand: Just days after the New Albany Landmark burned, neighbors and Sam's lovers are stepping up to help the employees who are now without employment for the holidays. El Camino Restaurant on Bardstown Road is stepping up with a fundraiser tonight. A silent auction will be held from 6-11 and 100% of the donations goes to Sam's Tavern employees. You can even bid on the chance to have a drink named after you.

10. Red Kettle Campaign The Salvation Army annual Red Kettle Campaign is still going strong. Please give to the cause when you see those red kettles at area Kroger stores, mall and other locations.
