LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) - After a clerk was found murdered at a Lexington gas station, the store owner said the Marathon will reopen Friday.

Police said former PRP student Travis Michael Bredhold, 18, was arrested Tuesday at Fayette Mall in connection to the murder.

Mukeshbhai ‘Mike' Patel, 51, was found unresponsive at the Marathon station on Alexandra Drive in Lexington around 3:15 Monday afternoon. He was rushed to UK Medical Center where he later died.

"He's a very outgoing person, always willing to help everybody, not just co-workers but customers, everybody," said the store owner about Patel.

Patel's funeral will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in Richmond.  The store will be open for business after the funeral.

Bredhold is being charged with murder and robbery.
