Can you believe Christmas is under two weeks away? There are several fun events happening around the Tri-State area this weekend, including an Olympic fitness test on Fountain Square and a college basketball rivalry separated by three miles.
Road to Sochi Tour
An interactive tour stops in the Queen City allowing fans to test their fitness skills with several Winter Olympic events, including bobsled, curling and figure skating. It's stopping at multiple U.S. cities through the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
The Cincinnati Santacon takes hundreds of adults dressed like Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on a pub crawl through town. There's even a 'sleigh' shuttle to the North Pole (Mt. Adams). Participating venues and donations go to The Cure Starts Now.
An 8-block radius of Over-the-Rhine will glow with 2,000 luminaries during the 4th annual Light Up OTR. This year, the event will shine on Washington Park, Elm St., Race St., and Main St. There's even a massive Christmas tree. It's organized by Agar and PB&J.
There is nothing like the first ski or snowboard sesh of the year. Perfect North opened in November, and with the recent snow and freezing temperatures, conditions are perfect.

Mt. Adams Reindog Parade *postponed*
The SPCA's annual Mt. Adams Reindog Parade is cute overload. Hundreds of costumed canines parade through the business district, led by Marty Brennaman, Mr. Perfect (Tom Browning) and Santa! It's been voted one of the best family events in Cincinnati.
Details: Postponed to Saturday, Dec. 21. Parade begins in Monastery Building Parking Lot, 1055 St. Paul Place.
