UofL fans can 'Clean the World' while attending bowl game in Orlando

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - UofL fans headed to Orlando to cheer on the Cards in the Russell Athletic Bowl can participate in a bowl service project.

The University of Louisville will be working with the Orlando-based organization "Clean the World," which helps prevent hygiene-related illnesses around the world by recycling soap and bottled amenities that would otherwise be thrown out.

The hygiene kits will go to people affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.

Volunteers will be asked to work December 28, the day of the bowl game, from 9 a.m. until noon.
