'Tis the season for ugly sweaters

COLUMBUS, OH (WCMH) - A truly ugly sweater is a thing of beauty.

For Columbus, Ohio residents searching for the perfect holiday ugly sweater is one-stop shopping at the pop-up seasonal store Christmas.

"We have sold ugly sweaters as a fun holiday promotion and the reaction the last two years has been so strong, we figured it deserves its own store," store owner Nate DeMars said. "We've been scouring not just in Ohio, but everywhere. We have traveled the last six months or so just collecting things. There's donations from my grandma and aunts in there. I got a call yesterday from a lady offering to sell her collection. I think we started with somewhere around 1,500 sweaters and we've sold a significant amount of that."
