LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The week is finally here where all of the community's generosity will pay off.
Monday the Salvation Army started distributing bags of gifts for children adopted off the Salvation Army Angel Trees.
Fewer shopping days between Thanksgiving and Christmas combined with some bouts of bad weather created some stress about angels left on the tree, but in the end every child will have a Merry Christmas.
TheAngel-A-Thon held at WAVE 3 News raised $98,000 for the Salvation Army to provide presents for the Angels who had not been adopted.
If you would like to adopt a food angel there is still time! All you have to do is pick an angel off the tree located inside of Kroger. Each food angel costs $25.
