LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Still tracking a few flurries for the early evening, otherwise it will be a dry and cold night with 20s in the area.
Wednesday will be the transition day between the winter-type cold and spring-like blast coming our way. Highs should moderate into the 40s. The first real taste of this warmth will kick in Thursday with highs getting awful close to 60 in the afternoon.
We should keep coming through the weekend, but rain chances will skyrocket Friday through Sunday. Some of the rain Saturday night could become quite excessive with flooding a growing concern. Thunderstorms also possible. It still looks sharply colder for Christmas, but dry at this point.
Tonight: Clearing and cold. Low: 28 (some teens north)
Wednesday: Sunny skies, milder. High: 46
Thursday: Partly sunny, much warmer. High: 58
