LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Pallets filled with pet food arrived at an animal
shelter in Louisville Wednesday to help feed animals in need.
After Iams and Eukanaba said they wanted to do something special for all of
the homeless pets in Louisville Feeder's Supply stepped up to help organize the
donation that was dropped off at Louisville Metro Animal Services.
LMAS Senior Manager Margaret Brosko said the shelter goes through 40 bags of
pet food a week to feed the animals they house.
Pet foster families working with the Shamrock Foundation, along with many
others will eat the rewards from the generous donation.
