LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A phrase used by a robbery and burglary suspect led to his arrest.

According to a report, John Brashear, 37, of Louisville knocked on the door of a Portland area apartment and told the victim, "Pocahontas sent me to see if you wanted to buy some movies."

After the victim told Brashear no, Brashear allegedly forced his way into the apartment with a device the victim thought was a knife. Police said Brashear also told the victim, "I will gut you."

Brashear demanded the victim's pain medicine, then fled from the area. The report says "the victim is elderly and in poor health with a heart condition."

"Pocahontas" is someone known to Louisville Metro Police Department officers, according to the arrest slip. They found a man fitting the robbery suspect's description at her house, and arrested Brashear.

Brashear is charged with first degree robbery and first degree burglary.
